American Red Cross - South Texas Chapter

The American Red Cross South Texas Chapter has prepared people to save lives through health and safety education, preparedness, and training . We offer a variety of courses such as First aid, CPR, babysitters and family care giving for Schools, community and the Workplace. We also offer classes to learn how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) to save victims of sudden cardiac arrest. In addition, we offer aquatic classes such as learn to swim programs and life guarding. American Red Cross Preparedness programs help people lead safer and healthier lives. The Red Cross constantly strives to respond to the preparedness concerns of Americans at home, in school and in the workplace.

The American Red Cross AED Trainer meets the 2005 AED protocols, mimics the features and promts of many live AEDs, features a play/pause button, toggle switch for two scenarios and tow languages, English and Spanish and a volume control feature. The Red Cross AED Trainer Individual contains 1 AED training device, 1 set of adult pads with connector, 1 set of child pads with connector, 4 AA batteries and a carrying case. Cost: $59.95
