Blended Learning
The Blending Learning First Aid/CPR/AED program is
now available.
Blended
Learning provides another way to offer Red Cross First Aid,
CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) training to new and existing customers. The first portion of
the course, including the written exam, is online and can be taken from any
computer with Internet access. The second part of the
training, the skill practice and assessment, is conducted by a
Red Cross instructor in a classroom setting.
Red
Cross Blended Learning is flexible, self-paced and available
online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Students have the
option of going through the lessons in a full or abbreviated
format and can test out of lessons. Web-based training enables
course-takers to access courses at their convenience and
minimizes schedule conflicts with work-related
responsibilities. The Blended Learning approach greatly
reduces the time required for recertification.
